I know, I know it sounds gross believe me I thought the same thing when I first heard about it. I was at work one day and one of my coworkers had gotten a big bowl of this. It looked gross and I thought man this can't be good. But I tried it any way. Man was I blown away. The flavors and everything was amazing. I decided to get the recipe. I bought all the ingredients and made it!(Keep in mind, I have a family of 4 and I double this recipe) What a huge hit this was! Kids loved it! Hubby is a freak over it! This is something so easy that you literally can prepare everything before work, put it in the crock pot and leave it alone for hours. Come home and dinner is ready!!! Ok enough of my talking here is the recipe that WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE!
Grocery List:
1 Can Navy Beans
1 Can Pinto Beans
1 Can Great Northern Beans
1 Can Sweet Corn
1 Pack Hidden Valley Ranch Mix
1 Packet Taco Seasoning (temperature of your choice)
1 lb. Hamburger Meat
1 Cup Monterrey Jack Cheese
1 Cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese
1 Bag of your favorite Tortilla Chips***
**Crock Pot Covers**
How you do it:
Preheat crock pot for about 15 mins on high. Prepare meat as you would do if you are making regular tacos.(Make sure to drain the meat then add the taco seasoning if not soup will be greasy) Take prepared meat and pour slowly into crock pot. Add remaining ingredients (including juice from beans and corn) into crock pot. Stir really well. Place lid on crock pot. Turn Crock pot down to low. Walk away.
I have no set time for this recipe. I did start this before work (I worked 6 hours that day) and it was more than ready when I came home. I did actually get worried about how it would be in the middle of my shift so I came home on break, stirred it really well and left it alone. I do believe left unattended it should be fine. Just make sure when you come home before you serve it, stir it really good. Hope you enjoy!
Peace Love and Taco Soup

***The lady that gave me this recipe found that her family loved it best with Doritos. Eh I wasn't impressed but hey what ever floats your boat :)
** The Crock pot covers are not a necessity but what woman doesn't want to cut down on mess?
My favorite Tortilla Chips.

Stove Top One-Dish Chicken Skillet
Hi again guys...
Okay guys. I tried this recipe last night and it really disappointed me.
Recipe List:
-1 1/2 cups of hot water
-1/4 cup (1/2 stick) of butter
- 1 Package (6 oz.) Stove Top Stuffing Mix for Chicken
-6 Small boneless skinless chicken breast haves (1 1/2 lbs.)
-1 can (10 3/4 oz.) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/3 cup Breakstone's Reduced Fat or Knudsen Light Sour Cream
Make It:
Mix- Hot water, butter and stuffing mix.
Cook- Chicken in nonstick skillet on medium-high heat 5 min. on each side or until browned on both sides.
Mix- Soup and sour cream; pour over chicken. Top with stuffing; cover. Cook on low heat 10 min. or until chicken is done.
Use your oven: Heat oven to 375*F, Prepare stuffing as directed. Place chicken in 13 x 9- inch baking dish. Mix soup and sour cream; pour over chicken. Top with stuffing. Bake 35 min. or until chicken is done.
My reviews:
1) The sauce was gross.
2)The chicken had no flavor
Okay what I mean by gross...the sauce was really strong in sour cream and watery because I used the lower fat sour cream. The meat had absolutely no flavor. I do believe this would be a WONDERFUL recipe if maybe it was tweaked a bit! My kids wouldn't even eat it. I had to fight with them about it. So I don't think I will be trying this one again anytime soon. Hubby even said that I could take this one off the menu. :)
Come back tomorrow (or maybe even tonight) cause I am adding tonight's NEW recipe I am trying. It may even change your life!
Hugs, Love, and Chicken (and nasty recipes)

Ps. If you think you can tweak this recipe and make it better, please by all means try it. And please share!!! Thanks guys!

Cheesy Chicken Potato Deliciousness
Hey guys! Check this out!
I made this for dinner on Friday. It was a hit with my family and might I add their were no left overs :) Which makes this Mommy happy! :) Here is your grocery list
-Oscar Meyer Bacon (I use the one from Aldi)
-4 Small Boneless Chicken Breast Halves ( I actually fillet these bad boy's in have to get 6)
-4 Cups (1 lb. Diced Potatoes with Peppers and Onions, Thawed (I used the ones without the Peppers and onions because My kids don't like onions, and used the entire bag to make up for extra chicken)
- 4 oz. Kraft 2% shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese. (I used a whole bag to make up for the extra chicken)
Cook bacon in large nonstick skillet on medium heat 5 min. or until crisp. Remove bacon from the skillet to a paper towel; discard drippings in skillet.
Add Chicken to skillet; cook 5 min. on each side or until done. Remove chicken from skillet; cover to keep warm. Crumble bacon. Add to skillet with potatoes; cook and stir from 5min. or until heated through.
Place chicken over potatoes; top with cheese.
Cover; cook until cheese is melted.
Now of course being the cook that I am, I changed some things with this recipe. I used more bacon than the actual recipe called for. Simply because, my family loves bacon (who doesn't) and I am a fatty like that :) I also cooked the potatoes for a while then put cheese on the potatoes and then put it on top of the chicken. I used no seasonings what so ever in this meal. It was wonderful. My kids even asked for seconds. Hope you enjoy this recipe. Try it! It just may change your life!
Hugs,love and bacon
